Is that another new signing on the way then.....
Let's get players names right. Is that minus points for the incorrect spelling of a players name?

In my defence - I'm at work and having to type quickly so don't get caught on here during work time

Oooof - that was quick. Good work Super - super fast reflexes there. It's important to keep standards high. I've added another first to Presidents list.

Re: Everton v Tottenham Hotspur
4-0 to spuds, Kone to get a hattrick thanks to the Daily Star misspelling Kane's name.

Actually you forgot to add 'First time in 3 years that the manager didn't use the word phenomenal in his post-match interview'.

Need to keep standards high from the off-set, otherwise people will forget as the season goes by.

Re: Everton v Tottenham Hotspur
For all the excitement of this week about Bolasie, Bony, Kone, Mata etc, we'll probably go into this game with just one new outfield player, as the game will come too early for Williams. So, basically Bobby's team will start, minus Stones and Howard/Robles. Based on what I've seen so far, we'll be lucky to get away without a humiliating mauling from the Spuds.
1-3, hat-trick for Steve Archibald, late consolation for us from Niasse's mum.

Re: Everton v Tottenham Hotspur
multiple oooh.. and ahhhs. from the doubters as Niasse bags a hat trick to take Ronnie's opener to 3-0 win..
2-0 to the Spuds
2-0 to the Spuds

I think we can fluke win this but wouldn't be surprised if we lost. Or if there was a draw.
You're welcome.

Same game as when Rooney made his debut and I expect same result 1-1.

Re: Everton v Tottenham Hotspur
Ignorantia juris non excusat
I have before me judgement docket 2016-7M1EVE-TOT
A number of issues have been bought for my attention
There can be no excuse in failing to spell Everton Football Club's most expensive signing even allowing for mitigation that the player sometimes does appear to be a different person than we signed sometimes. So a minus 2 applied to The President and a one point snitch to Super. Ordinarily this would also allow him to attain the title of Chief Snitcher to the court but the Court does recognise that Super has stepped uop to manage not one, not two but three leagues which I believe means he has become an STD (son of Toffee Dan) - in recognition of same Super will be awarded 5 points for stepping up (non-appealable)
BHE (Chief Snitcher caught out on holiday) should have been more alert. Warning as to future conduct - dereliction of duty is almost Trump like in offensiveness to the Court and duly takes a very dim view.
Then we come to main event - at or around 20:51 on 10th August 2016, a Scot, a man of incredible bearing and previously exemplary record of good behaviour uttered the immortal and most damning words... "I should be starting this thread...." I read those words and the plaintive request that followed and knew then the man was done for!
Now ignoring the quasi legal pronouncement from the tardy Chief Snitcher some 5 6 minutes later.... There is a rule that we have the Executive branch of the Thread, the Judicial branch of the Thread and the Investigative (Snitching) of the Thread and ne'er the roles shall meet. Indeed there was an order placed against the Executive branch previously for trying to assume the law.... The CS is treading on very thin ice! And it's not even winter yet. So minus 10 points for the ultra vires transgression
So back to Mr. Ben. It is understandable that the man having returned from sunnier shores might have believed it was his right.... Indeed he might have got away with it had he pre-posted before the rules for the competition were confirmed. Indeed not only was the principle of Champion starts - but the Champion was specifically named. Ignorance of the Law cannot be an excuse. It's the same principle that I was explaining to some natives in souther Bavaria during the week.
Mr. Ben you are fined 5 points for the false claim and agitation for justice!
Take him down

Let's hope the quality of the football this season is entertaining enough that this doesn't become the "snitching" league again.

Re: Everton v Tottenham Hotspur
No Luka today, interesting that he goes with Mirallas/Foo up front rather than Kone. That's how shit our striking options are I suppose. On the other hand, to be honest, I'd rather have pace up front than the immobile, concrete-footed, finger-pointing lump that is Lukaku.
Fuck, just realised we've got three DMs playing? Barry, Macca and Gueye.
