So onward and upward
After thrashing a very poor Sunderland side (even though we seemed to try hard not to win it at times) confidence will be high and I can see another game with goals in it.

2-4 This time Lakaku will get the hat-trick

I used to like West Ham, I used to enjoy going to West Ham.

Now, they have a new ground bought for them by tax payers and Karren Brady has the audacity to vote in favour of the tax credit cuts and then charge £46 for a match ticket at Upton Park!

I wonder how much tickets will be at the Olympic Stadium when they move, well, it won't affect me as they won't get another penny out of me.

The stupid thing is West Ham are doing ok at the minute so I doubt their fans are bothered about the hypocrisy.

I hope it goes spectacularly wrong and they end up playing Leyton Orient (ironically) in League One in front of about 8000 fans in a mostly empty stadium.

The whole thing stinks and I would be ashamed if anyone with anything to do with Everton have done similar.

True enough.
It doesn't look as though there will be much atmosphere there, and the roof design will leave most of them soaked, but hey it's cheap!!

Dunno about enjoying it, the one time I went to Upton Park they kept the Everton fans back for about a week before they let us leave the ground, and then we had to run the gauntlet of all the nutters because it was pretty obvious which were the away fans....

They've definitely struck lucky with the ground deal though. It's put them right to the top of the "clubs to buy" league. A massive ground for nil pence, great transport facilities because of the Olympic infrastructure, and a London base. I know there are restrictions placed on any future sale, but I can't imagine any rich Russian would look much further than a big investment in the 'Ammers. I'd quite like it if they were challenging the money clubs for a top 4 place.

And I'd have fucking loved it if the government would have stumped up to buy us Kings Dock. That Karren Brady is something else though. I mean, what has she ever actually done? Being the Chief Executive of a couple of footy clubs ain't exactly rocket science, yet they treat her like she's some kind of Alan Sugar. She's done fuck all, not created anything herself, not taken any risks just done a job for rich men. Anyone could do that. I'm not impressed.

I reckon she's been Alan Sugar's sweetner for years. Anyway a lot of London Clubs have complained about the Hammers getting a freebie stadium ? Because its paid for by the tax payers.

Hoping for another away win at the Hammers.

1-3 Lukaku's turn for a hattrick.

“The stadium remains in public ownership (E20 Stadium LLP – a joint venture between the London Legacy Development Corporation and Newham Council) and the profits from its multiple uses will flow to the taxpayer. “The agreement with West Ham United, including their contribution to transformation costs and rent, followed an open competitive process, which was delivered under EU rules, conducted visibly and exposed to significant scrutiny. “The outcome has been tested in the courts and upheld. As the winning bid this constituted the best available return for the taxpayer and secures the commercial viability of a national asset for the next 100 years.” Read more at: https://tr.im/hfsMH

I wonder if it's corporate uses will go to us taxpayers as well?

that's what West Ham keep saying. In other words, it was a big old white elephant and only the Hammers came up with something that wouldn't either end up losing a fucking fortune, or be embarrassing (Orient playing in front of 5,000 fat blokes with tattoos on their bellies). Basically the 'Ammers are claiming they're doing the taxpayer a favour by allowing them to have 20% of all burger sales and ten pence towards the leccy.

West Ham always go 1 up against us. So I am going fro 1-1. Ossie to equalize. I'd play No 11 instead of the young Spanish winger.

Everton defender Bryan Oviedo could miss up to three weeks after suffering a hamstring injury last weekend.
Leighton Baines is still not ready to return after ankle surgery, but Tom Cleverley could be involved for the first time since August.

I hope he starts with Kone and Lakaku
