Everton manager Roberto Martinez: ""The role we had to play was to be patient and not to be frustrated with our play as we had to break down a solid unit. Getting the first goal was important but once we got that we are disappointed as we could have defended a little bit better.

"It is a fantastic sign to have the character we have shown to get a point out of the game. The character was very pleasing on a very difficult day.

"The good aspect of the squad we have is that we have players with different abilities. Darron Gibson has a phenomenal forward pass and is someone we could help open them up.

"Christian Atsu is very agile and can run between the lines and that freshness allowed us to open Leicester City up and get the goals.

Conceding soft goals is something we addressed in last four performances. So it is disappointing that we were very soft in those two goals as it is not us.

"Drawing games is frustrating but as a team we gave everything today. It's been a demanding week and we need to learn about coming back from Europe, but that is not going to happen overnight.

"Everyone is in the scrap until you get 40 points, that's the way the league works. Our focus is to get as high up the league as we can."

We're 8 points behind Stoke in 10th and only 6 clear of the relegation zone. Busy fixture list ahead before a break until the Toon game.

Martinez putting all his hopes on a young 21 year old, who can not control a ball, who is not as good as he thinks he Is.

We are in this situation because we have a poor Captain in jags, Martinez refuses to drop players not inform, ie Howard-Jags-Barry-Barkley-Lukaku.

Not too sure who could replace Jags as captain right now... I would have said Ossie but he's obviously unfit & doesn't fit into Bobby's 'plan' anyway...

Joel should not have los his place ... 3 clean sheets in a row was it... Tim has not come back well

I wouldn't say Jags is out of form... he's certainly a better option than Alcopop or pissed off Dizzy

Barry was great last season, but Bobby has fucked up signing him for long term.. he may look poor however his stats are ok.. he misplaced 3 passes from 65 last game against YB

Barkley has gone to rat-shit.. Moysie would have put him out to loan this season.. I really believe that.. all the hype of last season is long gone, with his valuation

Lukaku has to have the ball in front of him.. service has been shit to him which is no surprise as our midfield are Neanderthal at times & our wingers anonymous.. our main creative player Barks.. well see above.. all that doesn't take away the fact that Luka is playing shit; but he is still our main threat

Surprised you left out Mirallas who clearly wants one thing and one thing only.... to leave asap... McFatty when fit is also a regular starter for Bobby & he is simply dire

It doesn't bode well really... does it?

To be fair Mirralas, has made his mind up so kind of omitting him as a lost course, to be honest with you, bit like Mc Geady.

Luka can't complain about service - he had nine shots against Leicester, six off target and three blocked. He's being given the ball loads, he just can't hit a banjo's arse with a cow.

You would think this is Everton's plan B,but , No. We lack fire power options because Martinez wants his golden boy to shine to prove why he spent 28 million on him.
