West Ham vs Everton
So for the second time in two weeks I get to start a thread for the hammers in the cup.
Have the tables turned? We're certainly showing a lot more fight than we have done of late and I think this game is very much in our hands.
I think it'll be a tight one, but I going to re-use my prediction from the home tie of a 2-1 win for the blues (this time I'm going with Baines and Barkley scoring).

I'm definitely more confident about this after today's game. It will be tight but I think we might nick it.

Taken from Bobby's Press Conference today...
The squad to face West Ham tomorrow for a place in the FA Cup fourth round will be the same as the one which earned a point against Manchester City on Saturday. "The attitude and desire from the players can never be questioned," said Martinez, who talked about having a great second half of the season.

Same team as Saturday. Our next game isn't until next Monday.
Get Lak into them. Sub McGeady for No 11 at HT.

I'm hoping Mirralas is 100% fit for this game and the only change would be a straight swop Mirralas for McGeady.
Feeling very optimistic about tonight, the fighting spirit has returned .
1-2 the boys in blue.

That's the key isn't it. We have good players, but they didn't look as though they gave a shit. If we keep this new more positive attitude for the next fortnight or so we should get some points on the board and, with any luck, progress into the fourth round of the cup.

Yes BHE, we have looked not arsed for a few months now , don't know what the real reason for that is ? The fans have shown in their thousands against west ham FA Cup 3rd round that we will not put up with the lazy attitude of football we have been getting, the tiki taki style of play with the back passing has not been excepted, many fans showed their displeasure by not attending the game, Everton fans will get behind the team when the team show some fighting spirit , this is what we have lacked.

You're quite right and you could hear that this was much more the case on Saturday, even at 1-0 down.
I'm feeling semi-positive again, not because of the fact we've drawn a couple of games, but simply because the players look arsed again.

West Ham are three-time winners - most recently in 1980
Everton are five-times winners - most recently in 1995
West Ham have not won in their last five games
Everton have not won in their last six games

Yeah, let's do them. Upton park is the scene of Lukakau's greatest triumph in a blue shirt to date.

Injured out four weeks, ankle.
West Spam are reported to have only sold 15.000 for tonight's game, that includes Everton's 3000 plus allocation.

Reported that Lukaku will play tonight despite being distraught at the death of his close friend & countryman Junior Malanda (Wolfsburg player)... in a car crash
Mirallas also said to be extremely upset, but also planning to play.

Re: West Ham vs Everton
Got a good feeling about tonight. Think we have started to show a little more fight lately, rather than just rolling over. Also, having Stones back makes a huge difference. Stones still makes mistakes but not as many as Distin and Alcaraz have been making. Lukaku has been looking a threat again.
1-2 to the Mighty Blues with goals from Mirallas, Downing and Lukaku.
