Never sulked or let the speculation affect his performances and although I wont wish him luck as such I have no hard feelings.
Also 27.5M is a tidy profit.
+1
He's been poor this season but his heads been spinning, not just turned. I love the guy but I hope he's a massive disappointment to the Manurians

It'll be interesting to see how he'll cope with the pace at Utd. He is not the fastest in the world, but has good skills, so it might not be an issue, but we'll see.mindyerho? wrote:+1Michael Crosby S74 wrote:No problem with him leaving, I won't be booing him or hating him (apart from the 180 minutes he will be playing against Everton).

He's no world beater so £27.5m is good business. He tended to drift in and out of games (and whole seasons) and is always close to suspension. I wish him luck, but I think United fans may be a bit disappointed.

Good luck Felli. Enjoyed watching him over the years and think that he was a major factor in us playing football. He always brought the ball down with his chest and passed it across the ground, which was something nobody did before. He will be missed but I think that our squad is now stronger than it was 24 hours ago so onwards and upwards.I just want to tell you: THANK YOU Everton and all the Evertonian fans for all these last years.

Unfortunately I fear we need to expect a very vengeful United PR machine going into overdrive to recover the CEO cock-up and poor window performance to really destabilise a number of key players and targets. In all honesty - if we had gotten McCarthy first and not Kone (the others were free agents or Wigan loanees) then our circumspection would be an overreaction. I do think McCarthy for his age is a real talent. Hopefully that can blossom.

They can't afford to miss out on Baines in December. Going to have to make them payUwist61 wrote:Unfortunately I fear we need to expect a very vengeful United PR machine going into overdrive to recover the CEO cock-up and poor window performance to really destabilise a number of key players and targets. Not the best of starts, but I presume this is a bit blown up. No smoke without fire though.Uwist61 wrote:Unfortunately I fear we need to expect a very vengeful United PR machine going into overdrive to recover the CEO cock-up and poor window performance to really destabilise a number of key players and targets. I don't understand how footballers paid millions by their clubs are so precious about "having to work" for a boss they are not sure about. Just play footie and do as you are told for fooks sake
Re: 25: Marouane Fellaini - Short, Back, in Side
Theirs no consistency or respect left in football due to the fact that football is a very high profile business for the elite, money and corruption has taken over.Saccum Praestigiatorum wrote:I don't understand how footballers paid millions by their clubs are so precious about "having to work" for a boss they are not sure about. players don't respect managers they are there only for the money and fame. wearing the club shirt or International shirt has been diluted due to the arrogance of many.
past players playing for the love of the game while earning peanuts have been disrespected because of the greed within football , Its sadly not a sport any more but a very corrupt business, the future for most football fans looks bleak as only the richest clubs will survive .

To be fair, if you had a boss you thought was a useless cunt telling you how to do your job, would you find it easy to work for him?Saccum Praestigiatorum wrote:I don't understand how footballers paid millions by their clubs are so precious about "having to work" for a boss they are not sure about. Everton deny reports that midfielder Marouane Fellaini paid £4m of the transfer fee to ensure his move to Manchester United went ahead.
Reports suggest that the 25-year-old Belgium international agreed to forgo a sizeable loyalty payment to force through his dream move.
But Everton's director of communications Alan Myers has tweeted: "For those asking: No Felli did not pay £4m of the transfer fee! The buying club will pay £27.5m."

wow, an almost direct answer, shame they didn't give a complete answer and say whether or not felli lost his loyalty bonus as wellBlueberto wrote:Everton deny reports that midfielder Marouane Fellaini paid £4m of the transfer fee to ensure his move to Manchester United went ahead.

My understanding on this was that fellaini was expected to be paid £110-000 a week instead he's getting £90-000 a week saving £80-000 per month x 12 =960-000 per year x4 =3.84 million over 4 years in fact Fellaini is getting £15-000 more a week at United.Armchair Evertonian wrote:So they haven't paid the money yet?Blueberto wrote: "For those asking: No Felli did not pay £4m of the transfer fee! Manchester United's £27.5m summer signing Marouane Fellani could be out of action until December, say the Daily Mail, as he faces the prospect of wrist surgery.

I really hate how people (Moyes, Felli) are only as good as their last game as far as the media are concerned. Felli was probably texting his Dad and blaming him for mess he has found himself in.Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:This might cause some additional headlines.

True. He wasn't even on the bench. He (and Moyes) seem to be the fall guys for everything thats wrong at United this season. Fergie must be loving it.Armchair Evertonian wrote:Hardly a crime is it? Bloody tabloid gutter press.

Meanwhile, United are prepared to accept as little as £12m for midfielder Marouane Fellaini, 26, who they signed for £27.5m from Everton a little over a year ago. Daily Star
