Must win. 4th place was never a realistic target but 5th is very much to play for.
With FooFoo and Barks back, we'll stuff this lot 4-1.

If we don't win this by ten clear goals I'm going to start supporting the Shite.

3-0 easy easy easy
Re: Everton P Crystal Palace P
Its hard to call this one because its hard to judge who is truly match fit that can make a difference. Mirallas seems to be carrying the torch on his own in recent games but he needs to bring others into the game around him. Hopefully Deulefou can make some impact like he did against Stoke before christmas but he will probably take a few weeks to get back up to that sort of level. The high water mark was that first half against Newcastle with the interplay between Barkley & Lukaku creating carnage but now one is out of form and the other is injured.
My concern is that the players might begin to see it as a lost cause now with Pool galloping into the distance and might have one eye on the cup on Saturday. The longer Palace can keep it scoreless, the more confidence they will gain from it. Il be interested to see how Ince plays and what kind of impact he has.
Almost pointless trying to pick a team as only Bobby knows who is fit. My concerns about McGeady been thrown in in January rather then wait until the summer seem to be justified. He's not match fit and needs time and coaching to work into the system that Bobby likes. He needs a full pre-season to get fit and sharp and we may see the best of him next season so wouldn't be too hard on him now.
Hopefully the back four will be kept together, Barry & McCarthy infront of them, Mirallas up top with fitness deciding the other 3 positions.
2-0 but a tough evening ahead.

Will the game go ahead? Winds of 40mph plus forecast, and heavy rain. If it does go ahead, it will be a lottery, tippy tappy might get blown away.

Re: Everton P Crystal Palace P
MOTD's Steve Wilson at Goodison Park
Everton v Crystal Palace (1945 GMT)
"Who could possibly have foreseen a few weeks ago that this is arguably a game from which Everton need the points more than Crystal Palace?
"The Tony Pulis effect on the visitors has been little short of phenomenal. They took just seven points from their 12 games before his arrival and have helped themselves to 19 in 13 games since.
"Everton will be confident of victory, but are right to be wary of defeat."

Re: Everton P Crystal Palace P
of course we have strikers, we have Kone (injured), Lukaku (injured), Vellios (refused to play), and we bought Traore (injured), and to make way for all those injured players we sold Jelli....The President wrote:Made FooFoo Gwladys wrote:Everton XI: Howard, Baines, Distin, Jagielka, Coleman, Barry, McCarthy, Pienaar, Osman, McGeady, Naismith

actually Bobby has Mirallas, Deulofeu and Traore on the bench (and Barkley as well) but its best keeping them there to avoid further injuries and let Naismith take a battering

Another great bit of luck for the Shite - they'll pull further away from us and be right on the heels of Citteh after the hammer Fulham. Fucking hell, this really is going to be their year. Satan has been fucking with us for a couple of years, pretending he'd abandoned those red fuckers, but he was just teasing
Re: Everton P Crystal Palace P
can we pretend its not cancelled and give match updates from dodgy feeds as usual please, I love those updates
