Love all the comments on here about his transfer. Just hasn't got the physical attributes for the premier league.

His just hasnt got a footballing brain - doesnt know when to run, pass, shoot, cross etc and often gets caught in possession.
He's one of those players who would dazzle everyone in a 5-a side game but stick him on the wing in a real match and he just looks lost.

Isn't this true of most wingers though?
Bring back Dave Thomas, I say.

Re: 7. Aidan McGeady - Fit for 90 minutes?
Martinez has said there is no truth in the transfer rumours surrounding Aiden McGeady. He has been linked with move to both Sunderland and Celtic.
RM: "Aiden is an exceptionally talented player and I'm looking forward to seeing him fully fit and playing again."
press conference, presumably after Bobby had downed half a dozen Changs and a couple of cocktails

This proves Martinez is deluded, trying the impossible with Kone & McGeady, he's a arrogant little sh*t who won't except both players not good enough.

If he fails to deliver at least a top 7 finish next season then surely he'll be gone by this time next year. The pressure is on him

Re: 7. Aidan McGeady - Fit for 90 minutes?
Everton FC slap not for sale notice on Aiden McGeady
Roberto Martinez has insisted Aiden McGeady is not for sale.
The Everton winger has been linked with a return to Celtic after making just 16 Premier League appearances for the Toffees last season.
However, boss Martinez has insisted the Republic of Ireland star remains part of his plans at Goodison Park and has no intention of selling him.

Reverse psychology?
Re: 7. Aidan McGeady - Fit for 90 minutes?
Makes me wonder if it's the stubbornness where he needs to prove to the rest of the world that he indeed made a great signing when all the signs are indicating the opposite.Made Foo Gwladys wrote: Everton FC slap not for sale notice on Aiden McGeady

Re: 7. Aidan McGeady - Fit for 90 minutes?
I think the problem with McGeady is he is a winger on a 4-4-2 tactics. He doesn't seem to fit in a 4-5-2/4-3-3.
Sell him to Bournmouth. They will win the league with Atsu and Aiden on the wings.

As someone else said, he stated the same thing 2 days before he offloaded Fellaini
