GOAL - West Brom 3-0 Sunderland - Morgan Amalfitano (90 mins)
Morgan Amalfitano had a hand in West Brom's first two goals and he has just capped his side's first league win of the season with a deserved strike of his own. Victor Anichebe fed the Frenchman on the right of the area and his stinging shot fizzed past Kieren Westwood and into the opposite corner of the net.
Good for him.

Great team spirit shown today by the boys to fight back. With Lukaku on the pitch we looked far more dangerous and more of a goal threat and looked a really good side at times.
That man Baines is a fooking legend
Now I have to go to work

If only we'd managed to pick up a goal or two in those first couple of games hey. We'd be flying now!Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:Love it love it!!!!!Blueberto wrote:who is it mateDixie Land wrote:Only one unbeaten side in the Premier League.

I am most happy that we beat a great, passing side last week and beat a scrappy, tough-tackling team this week. Looks as if we aren't the new Wigan after all.
Re: West Ham 2 Everton 3 (Baines 2, Lukaku)
It's amazing what an impact Lukaku has once coming on, it's like it was a totally different team out there.
Jelly will not get a sniff as a starter after this. I just hope that Lukaku wasn't hurt (concussion) in that goal.

Everton's on-loan striker Romelu Lukaku, who scored the winner after coming off the bench to make his debut, but was knocked out in the process: "I remember nothing about it. I did not even know I had scored, that was the first thing I asked the doc. I said "who scored?" He said "you".

I think the difference is the fact we have a solid back line and we are ever so slightly more dangerous in front of goal.
If you'd have given us unbeaten having beaten Chelsea with a new manager before the start of the season we'd have taken it!

Big Luke looks formidable.
Has the assets to be one of the best CFs Everton have seen in my lifetime, and I go back to Fred Pickering.
It maybe for one season, and had we scored just 1 goal in any of the first 3 games we would now be top, and looking good for it too.
Rapid Robby had guts to make 2 changes at HT, and they were both needed and both successful (apart from McCarthy's pen)
Big Luke will be a monster this year.
Jose, you idiot! (although maybe not quite as big an idiot as Di Canio - What were the Mackem owners thinking?!)

Lakuka to start till the end of the season, bar away to Chelsea.
Please sell ovieda, he's fucking shite. Oh and sell Kone and Jelavic. Maybe buy Lakuka with the cash.
Good result.
