Gianluca DiMarzio is usually pretty spot on with his stories.

At the end of the day, it's the Victor, Jelli and some of the Fellaini money for a striker who's 21 and has the potential to be a top class player.

Chelsea's £30m price tag for Romelu Lukaku rules out Wolfsburg but Everton still in hunt

CHELSEA'S £30m asking price for Romelu Lukaku could scupper a permanent move to Everton or Wolfsburg this summer.

By: Ben Jefferson
Published: Wed, July 30, 2014

Everton are reportedly putting together a bid that consists of £23m up front plus bonuses.

But it is thought that Chelsea are demanding the full £30m up front to allow the Belgian international to leave.

Indeed, Wolfsburg manager Klaus Allofs has said that Financial Fair Play rules could prevent them signing Lukaku unless Chelsea soften their stance.

He told Bild: "We can't say that we are ready to invest €40m (£32m).

"At VfL Wolfsburg we can't say that price is not a problem.

"There are rules which must be followed."

Bye bye Lakaku.

Since it's all around Champions League really for him... we should offer 20M up front & 10M player & Chavski add-ons for CL related extras...

That would ensure 1.. the player works hard to help us achieve CL ... 2. Chavs get their slice if we are successful ... 3.. we can afford to pay if we get into CL.. 4. if we don't get into CL he'll move & we very likely recoup the 20M

simple really

Sounds like we are getting bent over a barell here. Chelsea know we are desperate and have put an unrealistic price on his head knowing we will probably pay it!

Lukaku leaving Chelsea

July 30, 2014

Romelu Lukaku - Chelsea's loss (for this season) - Page 20 Btyn3a10

Romelu Lukaku has posted a photo of himself on social media saying that it is time to start a new chapter, meaning he could be on his way to Everton.

The Belgian striker is seen posing on a plane flying to an as-yet unknown destination but with Everton and Wolfsburg both in the running for him, it could be in either direction.

Lukaku spent last season on loan at Goodison Park, scoring 16 goals for the Blues and forming a superb working relationship with Everton boss Roberto Martinez.

On a plane, Destination Unknown as of yet ?
