Scary shit really. Bobby seems to be saying, we might not get Luka but we deffo need to sign a number 9. He also says we need one other player, in addition to Besic. The third signing, Henen is for the future and will try to get some Under 21 time. Fucking hell. So we've got a back-up to McCarthy, a youth player, and fingers crossed with a bit of luck and a fair wind, some kind of a number nine though he might be a lad we've never heard of from Athletico Penis of the Portuguese B league.

This part scares me as well:

If Mo Besic comes through we need another two signings as well before the start of the campaign and one must be a striker."

So Besic is not a done deal then. Eh?  Romelu Lukaku - Chelsea's loss (for this season) - Page 19 Confused Romelu Lukaku - Chelsea's loss (for this season) - Page 19 Doh

I am sure Martinez would have spoken to Kenwright about possible targets. Martinez was in London on transfer day at a work permit hearing for the Brazilian midfielder guy Fernando?
Dont think that one was ever true.   Smokescreen for McCarthey.

Martinez - 'Lukaku only back up to Kone' affraid
Possibly some truth in what I was told then. Bill, like most Blues, likes a proper brick shithouse of a centre forward. Lukaku might not fit easily into Martinez's way of thinking.

Better get Frank Bruno a shirt then.

We went to Chelsea and asked them for Ba, it was Jose who offered us Lukaku instead, we were never in for Lukaku, it was just blind luck that we got him

We have one of the best training grounds and facility's in the world , instead of being a feeder club, now we train other clubs promising stars and send them back only to charge us extortionate prices....WTF.

Everton should charge other clubs for once in a life time use of proper facility's or at least get the players on a knock down fee.

Word on the ground is that £20 million is our limit for Lukaku.

From the same source that said he was close to signing for Juve says he's close to joining us:
http://gianlucadimarzio.com/en/calciomercato/everton-close-to-landing-lukaku-the-figures-and-details/

Although in fairness they were reporting someone at Juve saying he was close to joining them.
