And Yank takes the final round with impressive late end of season charge winning 3 of the last 4 rounds.

Congratulations overall to BHE with incredible record points total of 42. Utterly dominant before christmas, easing up some what in last few months but unlike the Shite, he didn't blow it late on!  Well done on a powerhouse of predicting, with a score unlikely to be beaten for some time to come:D  Predictor 2013-14 Season Thread - Page 11 F_ale
Yankthetoffee made a commendable late surge from the peloton but just ran out of weeks to catch the runaway leader but will take comfort in winning 3 rounds this season. Some close season transfer business and he should come back stronger next season. Well done Yank. Qld Toffee is his usual consistent self, once again securing European Predictions qualification for next season along with Luka Perfect. Cahill 17 secures the poison chalice of Europa Prediction football which will surely affect his league form next season unless he strengthens in pre-season.

Also like to thank the administration team on another season without legal intrusion, outrage or controversy, (unlike other competitions in the forum). We pride ourselves on running a tight Predictor ship.

Until next season.

Post  Barry Horne's Equaliser on Thu 08 May 2014, 4:25 pm

Hey, thanks for all your efforts Bluejagz.

I was a bit concerned that selling my Predictor Champions 2013-14 t-shirts on the street a full three weeks before I had actually won it was maybe premature, and that getting the open topped bus painted last week might have ended in embarrassment after being knocked out in week one of the final round, but I'm delighted to storm past the finish line with a reasonable margin.

So here's to next season where I'll try to be the first player to retain the trophy in 606 history.

Until then though...  cheers
