Interesting video of Gibson contribution against Spurs. Not sure if it is every pass but striking to see how many of them are forward in direction, mixing short and long. Dont all reach their intended target but at least 5 or 6 create good opportunities for goals including the winner.

we are playing the best footie I have seen an EFC team play since the 60s. Sometimes the speed at which the ball pings around is breathtaking. Best footballing side in the PL at the moment. I just wish we could be as miserly in defence as for Moyes' last 9 years.

We have badly missed 'Darro Gibson so much so,i strongly believe if Gibson would have been fit to play during are spell of drawn games Everton would be in striking distance of United. He is the engine room in our team, that,NOT ONLY SUPPORTS OUR DEFENCE BUT CONTIBUTES TO ARE ATTACK.Sir Alex Ferguson will rue day he sold Gibson.
As for Trappatoni leaving Gibson on the bench during the Euro's.he too will have his regrets.I see Gibson one day as the next Peter Reid, over the next few seasons Gibson will get even better, which will take us up another level competeing with the best in Europe.

It wasn't handball. Looks like it from that angle but you can see he took it on his chest from a different angle. I'm pretty sure the Gallas one was handball though.

Think Gibbo is a better alternative to Nev, and Hits is the backup. But Jags at RB is a stretch. Do I sound drunken because I feel drunken ?

Jags at RB has been fine. It's a Lescott at LB idea, where you have height for set peices. J5 is the weakness now in the current back 4.
Thomas the Hitman is improving with each game. Did an effiecient job yesterday.

To look at it another way, had we not appealled against the ban, then he wouldn't have been playing against Wigan and wouldn't have got injured and would have been available after the Newcastle game again.

Just knew it was going to happen, didnt you! Possiblity of keeping Pienaar in the hole or free role and play Fellaini further back on Wednesday?

Yeah, I was confident that the Gods would conspire against us. "What's this?" pondered the Lord. "Everton? With a successful appeal? Well, they can fuck off" He said, and so Darron was struck down with a single lightening bolt.

Our best ploy for this game would be to give Thomas Hitzlsperger or Steven Naismith (or someone else who won't affect the game one iota) a grey fabric bag with a big dollar sign on it. Fill it up with something that would have the appearance of cash (because we don't have any real cash to use as bait) and get him to roam into areas of the pitch where there is no real play.

Demba Ba won't be able to resist sniffing around it and his threat will be reduced to nothing.
