What again,,, the last bloke we did that to keeps asking for moreKnight of Thorgothshire wrote:Hence me asking. Granted Bryan might think we are all going to hunt him down and gangrape him if we know what he looks like...Armchair Evertonian wrote:Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:Where's the picture?Bryan wrote:Right.
Was out for dinner today, and James McFadden was sat opposite us, I asked for a picture ( just to chat to him).
He is training with Everton next week, and a view to a pay as you play contract afterwards.
Wish I was making this up, he is sound btw.
Pics, or it never happened

Moyes would love to have him back apparently. Moyes was reluctant to let him leave?

I must say that I would be stunned if we signed him again. Even on a free. And on reduced wages.Mr_Ben wrote:http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/scotsol/homepage/sport/spl/3871586/Celts-face-fight-for-Faddy.html

I think that time is a great healer.... Faddy is a touch more mature and reflective, and Moyes a bit more aware of squad needs and cutting cloth accordingly. He is a squad player sure... but then again maybe I am old-fashioned and think that everyone should be treated as a squad player.

Re: James McFadden - The Scottish Rooney - returns!
He left because of lack of playing time, so he clearly must understand he'd be in a similar situation this time around.UWIST61 wrote:Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:I must say that I would be stunned if we signed him again. It would please Bubbles to no end if he signed.

Not good enough. Would rather see Vellios, Gueye, Barkley, Kissock () playing.

Nah.
We now have Bily to score spectacular goals, but little else.
The moaners behind me would be intolerable.
Besides, the 11 shirt has gone awol.

Everton have made a late attempt to snare James McFadden away from Celtic.
The Scotland forward (right), 28, will train with club this weekend and Wolves maintain an interest but David Moyes confirmed that he is trying to bring McFadden back to Goodison Park.

Re: James McFadden - The Scottish Rooney - returns!
David Moyes has confirmed that Everton have held talks with representatives of ex-Goodison midfielder, James McFadden, about a return to the Blues but admits that Celtic is a more likely destination for the Scot.
"We have been talking to James and the people behind him for the last few weeks," he said. "It could happen but I would say it's probably going against that now."
McFadden is a free agent after being released by Birmingham City to whom Everton sold the former Scotland international for £5m.
Because he is not contracted to any club, Everton would be free to sign McFadden between transfer windows
Who's laughing now?? Aye aye aye!
