It shows again that if Saha is not fit then we do not have a Premier League standard player. Anichebe was plain awful today and Beckford showed nothing when he came on apart from that his attitude stinks.

This is one of the worst performances I have seen in a while.

I read this morning that Chelsea are keeping close tabs on Fellaini. If I were him, I'd want away.

No, but mid table obscurity beckons again.

I can forgive the first goal. A dive conned the ref and the ball took a huge deflection.

The second, though, was piss poor defense

But anichebe was back to his sulky worst. Maybe DM will finally realize he's useless except as a sledgehammer to Saha's nail.

My ratings:

Howard 4- Wasnt at fault for the goals.
Baines 6- Our best player but faded in the 2nd half.
Nevile 3- Pretty anonymous
Disitn 5- Did ok and was marking one of the worst cheats I have ever seen in Sturidge.
Heitinga 2- At fault for both goals. Hoofed the ball to nobody time and time again.
Coleman 2- Did not look like a professional footballer.
Bily 3- Got stuck in a couple of times but never created anything.
Fellaini 4- Did try to create but his passing was well off.
Arteta 1- Did not even notice him in the 2nd half.
Cahill 3- Missed our best chance in the 1st half when he tried to kick the ball rather than head it. Looked off the pace.
Anichebe 0- One of the worst performances I have ever seen from an Everton player.

Osman 3- Had a shot (well off target) and did try.
Beckford 1- Offers nothing unless he scores. Has no footballing brain and a terrible attitude to boot. Had a right go at Felli for a perfectly good ball that any striker of quality would have latched on to.
Baxter 3- Had a good turn and a shot but gave the ball away cheaply on the edge of our box that could have lead to a 3rd goal.

can't disagree with any of that, except Ossie. Thought he was poor other than the shot, and he's too lightweight to play against Bolton..
We need Jags back to fitness, Heitinga is no good against big blokes, though he's ideal for the Chelsea game.

I personally thought that Fellaini was our best player. He picked up the ball a lot outside our own box and at least tried to make things happen. I wish he would do something more advanterous though at times, like take on the defender, maybe draw a foul, something. He likes to pass sideways a lot. And when he did pass the ball forward, Beckford chewed his head off....

I can totally see Fellaini gone when his contract is up.

That really annoyed me to be honest. In the past we have had a poor team but our spirit has given us good results. Our team is better now but the spirit isnt there and we dont need a player like Beckford acting like a child because he cant read a pass.

I agree. The odd thing was that the commentators were saying that Moyes wouldn't mind that at all because it showed that Beckford cared. Uhh, say what? There are loads of ways of showing you care without acting like a kid throwing a tantrum at the toy store.

I agree mate. I dont think it showed passion at all but it did show me why his attitude has always been questioned and why his team mates are a bit stand offish when he scores.
