Brentford 1 Everton 1 (Coleman) (Lost: 4-3 penalties)
Everton travel in the direction of Wembley for Tuesday night’s match versus a team called Brentford.
Will Davie Moyes listen to the fans and play 2 up front and Coleman at RB.
Brentford have scored 1 goal in their last 3 matches.
2-1 Everton (Yak and Pienaar)

Coleman should be loaned out asap.
Neville at right back
Heitinga centre back
Distin on the bench
Fellaini in front of the back four
And that's for starters.

Goodison nearly exploded when it was announced he was coming on at the start of the 2nd half

Didn't he nearly give away a penalty? Yes he is ok going forward but he needs to learn how to defend.
People crucify Glen Johnson for that.
Coleman should be making mistakes for Blackpool for now, not Everton.

Jagielka has been poor all season and much of last season. Should we loan him to Blackpool too, or should he move down a few divisions? Distin has been good, but disaster struck at United. Do we ship him out too? He 'nearly' gave a penalty away. It's all part of learning. It wasn't long ago that our most experienced player in Phil Neville gave a penalty away for England, with huge consequences.
Coleman has to learn what it's like at the top. If after a season, he can't cope, then we have options. If he copes well, then we have options.

I dont rate Distin, he panics, and Berbatov properly showed him up last week.
Heitinga and Jagielka were good last season.
The team needs Neville in it, Arteta isn't vocal enough.
Osman needs dropping or playing in the middle.
Moyes is trying to fit square pegs in round holes.
Heitinga
Fellaini
Arteta
Pienaar
Cahill
Saha
Yakubu
I think he thinks merit a start, some play out of position, he also seems to like
Hibbert
Neville
Osman
Who are reliable club men and maybe deserve a game too.
This is without including Bily who he has paid 10M for.
He needs to find his best team and a system that works rather than trying to keep everyone happy.
I would rather have Neville or Hibbert at RB than Coleman he is just too raw.

Re: Brentford 1 Everton 1 (Coleman) (Lost: 4-3 penalties)
Steve Round has hinted that captain Phil Neville may return for the Carling Cup third round tie at Brentford on Tuesday night. Neville was an unused substitute in the 1-0 home defeat to Newcastle United on Saturday on his return to the Blues matchday squad after almost a month out with a foot injury. Round says the former England man’s leadership has been missed during that time and the experienced 33-year-old looks likely to feature against the npower League One side.
The Blues assistant manager said: “Phil is a terrific leader and has been a big miss, but he is now fully fit and available for selection. I'm sure it won't be too long before he's back in the team and leading from the front. “Not only is he an exceptional player but he is also a terrific leader. I can't speak highly enough of him as a player and a professional.”
Tim Cahill also sat out Saturday’s game as the Blues suffered a first home Premier League defeat in 15 games, and Round says the management will make a late decision on whether or not the Australian international is fit to feature at Griffin Park. He said: “Tim Cahill will train today and we'll see how he comes through that, because he just has a slight knee injury.” “He was a big miss against Newcastle because he leads by example and drive - not necessarily by his words like Phil. Getting Phil and Tim back would be a big bonus.”
Everton are taking a full squad to Brentford with the only names missing being those of long term absentees Victor Anichebe, Louis Saha and Jack Rodwell. Round admits Everton are yet to decide on the side that will face Brentford, but believes there are plenty of incentives to impress at Griffin Park. He said: “There are certain players who we feel need a game, and then might feature at Fulham. It’s their chance to prove themselves. There are other players that need to play because they need a bit of confidence - hopefully that will come in this game.”
Squad: Howard, Mucha, Hibbert, Neville, Coleman, Baines, Distin, Jagielka, Heitinga, Pienaar, Arteta, Bilyaletdinov, Barkley, Fellaini, Gueye, Yakubu, Beckford, Osman, Cahill

Just hope he picks a balanced 4-4-2 team and give Barkley 30 minutes at the end if it all goes well.

i think Johnny H is one of those that needs to play, and find his feet
Re: Brentford 1 Everton 1 (Coleman) (Lost: 4-3 penalties)
Brentford will hope to welcome back on-loan striker Robbie Simpson from a hamstring strain.
But midfielder David Hunt is definitely out with torn ankle ligaments.
Everton are likely to play a strong line-up, with Tim Cahill and Phil Neville hoping to return from knee and foot injuries respectively.
Striker Ayegbeni Yakubu could make his first start of the season, but Louis Saha (calf), Jack Rodwell (ankle) and Victor Anichebe (knee) are unavailable.

Fairly strong side that, but what are the chances that it set up so that it's Osman and Neville at CM with Fellaini up front?
