Well worked goal and nice to see that we havent given up. Will maybe give us more confidence going into the next game but I think you are right about it being nothing more than a consolation today.

Jags could have won us the goal, but the ref blew just seconds before he took the shot, is that correct?BB wrote:Ref should have let us score a winner then but blew. Moyes fuming.

We are all winners today (apart from the team who drew but you know what I mean).

I thinK the Yak may be back. Did more in the box in his 20 minutes than we saw from anyone else all game.

What a fucking gobshite Atkinson is. If that is not biased towards Man Unt (or the "Big 4") then I dont know what is. Disgraceful.
Re: Everton 3 (Pienaar, Cahill, Arteta) Man Utd 3
Yeah, the "funny" thing is that I wanted him to replce Cahill since he had done so little. Well, apart from in the stoppage time of course!! One goal and one assisit in stoppage time from Cahill.mindyerho? wrote:I thinK the Yak may be back. Did more in the box in his 20 minutes than we saw from anyone else all game.

Probably Distin's worst game for us today. He looked really off the pace and lacking in confidence. Jags, otoh looked like he was taking charge, more so in the first half. His two internationals obviously did him good.

We had no strikers on the pitch for 70 minutes. We have been struggling for goals, and yet Moyes plays with no strikers. I can't get my head around this.

Re: Everton 3 (Pienaar, Cahill, Arteta) Man Utd 3
BBC Sport's Phil McNulty at Goodison Park: "You could sell tickets to be inside the Manchester United dressing room after Everton score twice in injury time to take a point. Sir Alex Ferguson and his team will be wondering how they have allowed victory to escape. Goodison Park is rocking after that stunning finale, for United it is the careless casting aside of victory. How wise does the decision not to play Wayne Rooney look now?"
1443: Angry Everton boss David Moyes ran on to the pitch at the final whistle, which I am told blew just before Phil Jagielka had that last shot. He felt Martin Atkinson ended the game too soon. I'm still getting my breath back.
1440: FULL-TIME Everton 3-3 Man Utd
93 mins: Things almost got even worse for United. Everton break forward from a corner, and they have men over. Phil Jagielka picks up the ball on the right-hand side of the area but his shot is saved by Edwin van der Sar. This is some finish.
Everton goal: I don't believe it. Tim Cahill heads down a cross from the left, into the path of Mikel Arteta, whose shot hits Paul Scholes and flies into the bottom corner.
92 mins: Everton 3-3 Man Utd (Arteta)
Everton goal: Hope for Everton. Leighton Baines swings over a cross from the left and Tim Cahill rises unmarked to steer home the header.
91 mins: Everton 2-3 Man Utd (Cahill)
90 mins: It won't come as any surprise to you that it's all a bit quiet at Goodison right now. The home side will have three minutes of added time to try to salvage something from this one.
Re: Everton 3 (Pienaar, Cahill, Arteta) Man Utd 3
should have been 3 points
3 shocking goals conceded.
First time i have screamed with the goals (1st and 3rd) this season
3 great goals
Check the stats out, we must have had 18 shots (albeit some off target (Hibbert))
We can thrash The Toon now
This is why i love Everton!

I think he was looking to Cahill and Fella to cause aggro in the box and then to bring on Yak/Becks to poach when the game started to run down.
Let's face it 2 of their goals were purely defensive errors.
