MrMatt: Mucha with a bit of a mistake there, kick going straight to Wolfsburg. Shot from distance from Hasebe goes well over.
Saturday August 7, 2010 5:44

MrMatt: Good play from Everton, Yakubu holding it up, Baines cross in but Rodwell can't header it, and apparently fouls someone, ridiculous.
Saturday August 7, 2010 5:43

MrMatt: Yobo for Jags, Gueye for Pienaar, Yak for Arteta.
Saturday August 7, 2010 5:39

MrMatt: Yobo on too, Arteta Pienaar and Jags off.
Saturday August 7, 2010 5:39

MrMatt: Yak and Gueye to come on.
Saturday August 7, 2010 5:37

MrMatt: Still a lack of anything in the final third. Two substitutions coming on now it seems, one of them being the Yak...I think.
Saturday August 7, 2010 5:37

MrMatt: Great play there, Cahill cross in, Rodwell to Arteta but he's tackled. The break is on for Wolfsburg but they slow it down.
Saturday August 7, 2010 5:36

MrMatt: Ball given away again there by Baines, quite an awful game of football to be honest.
Saturday August 7, 2010 5:34

MrMatt: Fellaini running forward but the pass is straight to a player about 3 feet in front of him. Dzeko's shot is straight at Jagielka and it's out for a throw-in.

MrMatt: Well, a little match report now. That match was a bit too much for us, but they are Champions League contenders. Very organised, and our passing just didn't come off. Got a lot of players on though, roll on next Saturday.
Saturday August 7, 2010 5:54

MrMatt: The hold-up play in the corner from Rodwell doesn't come off, we lose the ball, and that's full time, 2-0 to Wolfsburg.
Saturday August 7, 2010 5:53

MrMatt: Good corner but header flicked out for a throw-in. Referee has stopped the game cos a Wolfsburg player is faking an injury. Oh hes fine now.
Saturday August 7, 2010 5:52

MrMatt: Great play from Yakubu then. Held up and a left foot pass to Cahill. Shot/cross goes for a corner, taken by Baines.
Saturday August 7, 2010 5:52

MrMatt: Coleman with a great ball there to Yakubu, but he can't control it, gets caught under his feet. Good play from Coleman
Saturday August 7, 2010 5:51

MrMatt: Wolfsburg keeping the ball, we've been well and truly out played to be honest.
Saturday August 7, 2010 5:49

MrMatt: Good play from Wolfsburg there but Gueye tracking back very well and tackles well.
Saturday August 7, 2010 5:48

MrMatt: They said he's probably being rested so he can play at Sligo. Oh...Coleman is on...what the hell happened then. Swapped for Howard.
Saturday August 7, 2010 5:48

MrMatt: Quick break from Wolfsburg now but Baines clatters him, professional foul there so would've been a yellow but not in this game.
Saturday August 7, 2010 5:47

MrMatt: Wasted, pass to Hibbert wide, cross blocked, throw-in.
Saturday August 7, 2010 5:47

Yeah, no harm to get a reality check and Moyes can use the defeat to to beat them with in training this week. Fully focused for next weekend.

Still haven't found a working link yet. Crying or Very sad
Actually started at 9AM mine time, it was the pool party that was at 10AM. Either way, missed it. Back to read up on the game though.

Holy crap!

When it comes to our game, based on what I read here we had some chances but they were the better team. Hopefully we can start the season strong at Blackburn. A good season start would be a nice change.

Didnt realise Gallas was let go. No surprise, despite been clearly talented no one else is in for him seeing that he is mental!
