Can't be far off. Not like £5.5m is reported and he signs for £15m happens often.

What I meant is that I really doubt his actual valuation is that low. We ought to be able to get more for him than that if he were to go.Mr_Ben wrote:Knight of Thorgothshire wrote:http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4448623/Johny-Heitinga-thinks-over-Fenerbahces-mega-bucks-offer.html

have you considered laser eye surgery instead of glasses ?
Either way he only has 2 years left.
The Turks had been told Heitinga could go for £3million because he had one year left on his contract - only to discover he has TWO YEARS to go
Everton star Johnny Heitinga's move to Fenerbahce is on the rocks - because the Turks were given duff info on the deal.
Dutchman Heitinga was on the verge of a £5million move out of Goodison, with Fener prepared to hand him a lucrative long-term deal.
But the Turks had been told Heitinga could go for £3million because he had one year left on his contract - only to discover he has TWO YEARS to go.
And while one leading Everton official was prepared to sell at the fee because of that mistaken contract length another pointed out the error and the fee went up to £7 million.
Fenerbahce are unlikely to pay that much - and meet Heitinga's terms - so they are now poised to take Jospeh Yobo instead for a bargain fee.
The lack of a big sale will also put David Moyes's recruitment drive on hold. He watched Blackburn's Grant Hanley last weekend, but will not have the money for Hanley - or the vacancy - because of the Heitinga cock-up.

I'm not sure he was having a dig at Moyes, just expressing his desire to get back in the team. Of course The Scum have to sensationalise it.

I think ''Heitinga'' is entitled to voice his displeasure at the manager (if he did) for being left on the bench.

He tweeted his disappointment about being on the bench while Everton lost on Saturday, he can't complain after the United and Villa games, he was captain for the game against Leyton Orient.
He has to wait for his chance and when he gets back in make sure he doesn't get dropped again, surely that is what football is all about?

Re: 5: Johnny Heitinga -"proud Evertonian"
Frank as ever, Heitinga is not happy. Funny aul game, this time last year I would be pretty unhappy if he was moved on, but not too fussed now. Every chance Moyes has given him this season, he has looked unconvincing and even lost the sense that he could play in a few positions. At 29, we would need to cash in now to get £5m+, obviously the ideal scenario would be to sell him onto a team on the continent and get Lescott back.
John Heitinga's agent has revealed that the Dutch international is unhappy at Goodison Park and is "looking for a solution" that includes taking a serious look at a move away from Everton when the January transfer window opens.
After a stellar 2011-12 campaign in which he was named the Club's player of the year, Heitinga has lost his place in David Moyes's starting XI this season, with the Phil Jagielka-Sylavin Distin partnership the manager's preferred pairing.
The 29 year-old has hinted at his frustration at the amount of time he is spending on the bench on Twitter but now his agent, Rob Jansen, tells VI Radio that, "Heitinga is definitely not happy with what is happening at Everton and we won't hide that.
"He is looking at a solution."
Heitinga, who joined the Blues from Atletico Madrid in 2009 for £6m, denied earlier this season that he was looking to quit the club when he first lost his place but Jansen admits that, "when an appropriate situation arises for a transfer, we will certainly not ignore it."
The defender was linked with a move to Turkey last summer, with Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Besiktas all reputed to be interested but nothing came of the speculation. A return to his former club Ajax has also been rumoured of late.

It's the right time to move him on... he only has 18 mths left on contract I think... I thought he was superb last season but if we can get the 8M that Citeh value Lescott at...
