EVERTON skipper Phil Neville is happy to go back for the future – to allow young “warrior” Seamus Coleman the chance to progress. Neville moved back from his regular midfield role to play right-back at Fulham, with Coleman operating as a more attacking right-sided player in front of him. not really, moyes clearly sees coleman's immediate future as an attacking outlet in midfield rather than defence

hibbo is still the second choice right back, and is unlucky that nev is captain as he is arguably our best right back defensively, and the difference going forward between him and pip is minimal (if anything hibbo has steadily improved in this area recently)

coleman for the time being thought remains out of contention for the RB slot imo

but he's defensively weak at the moment compared to neville and hibbo, that will come with time and i am sure that he'll end up there but right at this minute i think moyes is taking the right approach in exploiting his obvious attacking talent whilst we need it

i still think he's got a fair bit to go technically as that missed chance shows but what he does offer is pace and directness and that is exactly what we lack.

Can't believed he missed that one, if you watch the reply he gets to the corner of the 6 yard box. Should have just toe punted it.
