also sounds like Yak is going to sit out the season on his fat arse so he can get a free next year, the lazy good for nothing twat. Pip should have a word with him before issuing his next rallying cry to the fans about purse-tightening.

Could this mean Joey's on his way back to us...

Surely useful enough as a squad player? Do find it funny that he was bigging up Fener about it being great to win championships and challenge for cups, etc. And now everything he won will be stripped from his record. Maybe we could sell him to QPR?

Not thought of it like that
I've always liked him as a player, regular international etc
Re: 4: Joey Yobo - left-over Turkey
From Toffeeweb.
Everton can still get rid of want-away defender Joseph Yobo despite the UK transfer deadline passing on Tuesday. The Nigeria captain seems determined not to play for Everton again and is still desperate to rejoin Fenerbahçe before the Turkish transfer window closes on Monday
I reckon he will probably leave for peanuts.
Re: 4: Joey Yobo - left-over Turkey
Not sure what happened between Yobo and Moyes, but it appears as if some players have a fall out with Moyes and then they are looking for a move. Either way, he'd be a great back up I feel, something we don't really have too many of.Dixie Land wrote:

was world class in the first couple of seasons, always rated him highly. he did have his moments of the odd clanger but not that often. It seems once you upset moyes thats the end of your career with the club

I agree mate. I think a lot of fans have forgotten just how good a defender he can be on his day. He was prone to the odd lapse in judgement but was a solid enough defender who is worth around £6 million in my opinion. He will probably go for about £1.5 million however.

can't believe a few prem teams havent bought him, look at QPR signing Anton Ferdinand, Yobo is much better.

100% agree mate. He is a good defender who would improve a lot of Prem teams.

No mate. A lot of people seem to think I am from Stoke but I wasn't born in Stoke and have never lived in Stoke.
I am from a small village which is close to Crewe. I usually say that it is half way between Stoke and Crewe but the address is Cheshire. I have moved, since getting married, to Newcastle-Under-Lyme which again is not part of Stoke-On-Trent but is part of Staffordshire. I should change my location really but can't be arsed.
In my life I have lived in Madeley (Cheshire), Liverpool and Newcastle-Under-Lyme.

I have the same thought about why he's not wanted or wanting to go to another Prem team?Albert wrote:Dixie Land wrote:Diamond wrote:was world class in the first couple of seasons, always rated him highly. he did have his moments of the odd clanger but not that often. Fenerbahce not allowed to sign players, apart from on loan, because they are big cheating bastards. Joey Yobo wants to Kenwright to let him go on loan.
I would tell them to fook off as they had an agreement in the last loan that they could buy him for £6 million and then tried to get him for half that once the loan was up. Hope the Turkish League relegates them.

Re: 4: Joey Yobo - left-over Turkey
Looks like we've got some money from the loan.
Fenerbahce: Yobo will receive a guaranteed salary of €2.35 million ($3.3m) for 2011-12 season. Everton will receive a €700,000 transfer fee.

Any more than that would be doing pretty well. Think we got paid a bit for his loan, too.
