Didn't realize he was in his last 6 months.. another one out on a free

Skysports.com understands a number of clubs at home and abroad are monitoring Victor Anichebe's situation at Everton.

Anichebe is entering the final six months of his current contract and as yet no deal has been agreed.

Just off the top of my head, it was more of an exaggerated figure that he will ask for etc

I think their relationship has always been a bit frosty since this episode. He wanted to join Hull on loan so that tells you he cant be that happy here. As I said I dont think he had any intention of signing any new deal even if its 50k per week

Apparently we'll get some compensation for his development

So, perhaps a million or two?

We wouldn't get that much even if he had just signed a 5 year deal Laughing

This may mean Vaughan staying - I think JV is a better player if he can stay fit.

Rumour is the offer was actually significantly less than 30k... IMO he's worth about 10k / week... but IMHO I think he's shit
