Fellaini's buy out clause was set at 23.5 rejected out of hand , Baines valuation by United was 15 million last bid, total 38.5 million, nothing improved their.

Also more promising news about Man Utd-

They were also left waiting on a deal for Real Madrid left-back Fabio Coentrao which is yet to be confirmed.
Let's hope that this goes through. They would have Evra and Coentrao both fighting it out for first choice so no need to come knocking for Baines again in January.

Coentrao was only going to be a season long loan , don't get too excited unless Baines signs a new mega deal .cheers

I think as soon as he appeared to move for a player, Spurs, Barcodes etc would step in before he could pusue them again in te next window.

Maybe not so much Fer but there was Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe who we were close to getting and he never went back, as well as a few others.

Would be good if Everton could tie Baines down to a big contract.
