Some strength in his arm there. I remember saving a shot from Zenden* in an outdoor league last year and it nearly took my arm out of its socket!
*Ok, it wasnt Zenden but it was bloody hard shot!

Booooommmmmm!!!
Actually think Timmy is a better instinctive shot stopper from close range then from distance. From distance he seems to lose a split second by trying to sort his feet out and its usually just a joke air grab at that stage. But close up,(remember point blank Wigan save last year?) he much for instinctive and usually gets an excellent block in. Strange.

Re: 24: Tim Howard - USA USA USA
Im hoping that he will miss one game at most. We should beat Wolves (and perhaps West Ham) anyway so it may be a good time for him to get injured if there is one.

He looked in pain didn't he! Hopefully it's some bad bruising and that is all!

I'll be honest Wolves have been playing pretty well of late. I'd fancy them to cause us a more problems than City.

Fingers crossed mate. He did look in agony. I hope you are right but I feel it may be a muscle strain. Hopefully should be back soon whichever one it is.

The second time around he landed on it heavily, and then looked in real pain, and it suddenly cleared after a sustained period. So I'll go the optimistic view of bad bruising on that basis.
